How to make Balloon Pirate Sword Sculptures

When you are hosting a children birthday party, you will always be glad to have a balloon artist around keeping groups of children entertained with those amazing balloon sculptures. However, balloon sculpting isn't rocket science, and definitely there are some simple yet nice balloon sculptures any average person is able to master.

In this post, we will be sharing some simple steps to twist your very own balloon pirate sword sculpture!

1) First step, inflate the balloon but leave about 3 inches un-inflated at the end.

2) Twist a one inch bubble

3) Make a large loop about 5 inches in diameter and twist it

4) Twist 3 to 5 one inch bubbles and hold them together

5) Take the end of the balloon and insert it into the loop, continue inserting all the way until the pirate sword is formed with a handle. Tada!

Kids, especially boys absolutely love pirate swords. This balloon sculpture is simple to make and will definitely come in handy when there are children around wanting to have some fun. With some practice, a balloon sword like this doesn't take too long to make. Of course, there are much more elaborate balloon sword sculptures around. But well, you can leave that to the professionals
